The GRAMMY-nominated producer delivers the soundtrack’s defining club weapon as Season 1 arrives in full.
Tokyo, 20 February 2026 – Today, Steve Aoki drops a new weapon into the Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves arsenal: ‘Freak On’, released as the focal track from the newly unveiled Season 1 Soundtrack Album. The full release completes a season-long rollout that has paired game stages and character drops with original music, bringing global electronic heavyweights into the Fatal Fury arena. Along with Aoki, the soundtrack features contributions from Afrojack, Alok, Solomun, Alan Walker, R3HAB, and more, further cementing it as one of the most defining and culturally resonant gaming soundtracks to date.
Steve Aoki’s latest track, ‘Freak On’, arrives with maximum intensity, built for both peak-time club settings and the heightened energy of combat fantasy. Fusing distorted basslines, punchy drops, and a commanding vocal hook, the track channels raw festival energy through sharp, modern production. As it unfolds, relentless tension gives way to explosive drops that feel instantly unmistakable as Aoki’s signature sound, perfectly suited to the high-stakes world of Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves.
With the Season 1 Soundtrack Album released in full, the project expands to include six previously unreleased tracks, including additional high-impact remixes from Steve Aoki himself, Salvatore Ganacci and R3HAB. The digital release also lands alongside a limited-edition double gatefold vinyl pressing that offers fans a premium physical format. With the Season 1 soundtrack now complete, Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves moves forward with its momentum in full force, setting the stage for Season 2, where another lineup of high-impact original music will roll out throughout the year.
